Professional Actor in Cinema, Theatre and Television for 40 years with an extensive list of film credits. His brilliant performance in over 100 movies won him National Award and was the recipient of three lifetime achievement awards for his contribution for the development of Srilankan Cinema and the prestigious Sarasaviya Award for Best Actor on six occasions.
His credits in the International scene have been the role of the Police Chief in "Madre Teresa" with Olivia Hussey and the Hallmark Production "Mother Teresa – In the Name of God's Poor" with Geraldine Chaplin.
He also played an important role in the Italian production "Iqbal" in addition to the French TV productions "Les Mysteres de Sadjurah" and "L'Enfant des Rues". Former Parliamentarian and Public Speaker.
Entered the industry on the productions of world reputed Sri Lankan film director, Dr. Lester James Peiris.He moved onto the International scene and has worked as Art Director on world-renowned films such as Steven Spielberg's "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom", Sony Classics "Indochine" (Oscar winner – Best Foreign Film) and John Boorman's "Beyond Rangoon".
Errol was also the Production Designer on Hallmark Entertainment's "Mother Teresa – In the Name of God's Poor", "The Second Jungle Book" and Cannon Pictures "Fifty/Fifty". He was the design Consultant on Deepa Mehta's "Water" and "Midnight's Children" and instrumental in the designing and construction of sets.
Started work as an accounts person in the hospitality trade. But the love of motion pictures was too much that he started work on the local television industry.Joined the International film industry as a Third Assistant Director.
After a few years was the Second Assistant Director and moved to become a First Assistant Director. On the Academy award winning French film “Indochine” took over the position of Production Manager. Upto date, he has worked as Production Manager and also Line Produced many International and Sri Lankan Feature Films, AD Films, Documentaries and Music Video shoots.
Well experienced in working in Sri Lanka, Maldives, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
Gopi commenced his career in the travel trade and then moved into the film business. The accounting knowledge and experience assisted him in starting as the Production Accountant on Canon Pictures "Fifty/Fifty" filmed in Malaysia.
Over a period of 20 years has handled numerous projects in the capacity of Associate Producer, Production Manager, Production Accountant and Location Accountant.
The knowledge acquired in these departments motivated him to handle the Sales and Marketing for filming in Sri Lanka and the region.
Tanya graduated from the Edith Cowan University with a double major in Marketing and Management. Started her career as an Assistant brand manager at Unilever Sri Lanka.
Her passion for marketing made her move into the banking sector and was the Assistant Manager of Direct Marketing at Nations Trust Bank. Tanya conducts customized corporate trainings for companies in Sri Lanka.
She joined The Film Team and handles the digital marketing for the company and the promotional activities of the organization.
Sam has Bachelor of Commerce degree from Deakin University, Australia majoring in Management, International Trade & Economics And Systems Management.
He started his career with Personal Banking at Bendigo Bank, Melbourne. Having a passion for the film industry and his experience in banking and finance, he joined The Film Team to handle the accounting of the German feature "Emden Men". On completion of the project, he moved on to handle a similar assignment as Location Accountant for Deepa Mehta’s "Midnight's Children".
Having grasped the operations of a production from a financial standpoint, he started to handle the production coordination on AD Films. With the experienced gained, Sam moved onto production control on projects.
